My Students

We are a small but mighty yearbook staff dedicated to documenting our amazing students; however, we are short on supplies.

My students are hard-working, self-motivated, and ready to learn about photography and the best ways to capture student life but we only have one DSLR camera for our entire staff.

Additional cameras will help us more effectively preserve the school year and document our school family. They will also allow my students more hands-on learning opportunities with appropriate photography equipment.

My Project

My budding photojournalists need access to quality photography materials to enhance their skill at capturing the most important moments in a high school year.

My yearbook staff cover all students in grades 7-12 in both their daily school lives and the special ways that they contribute to the school and wider community after school hours.

They instantly capture how our individuality makes a strong school family. They work hard to be able to attend all events to support and photograph their fellow students.

My students share one professional camera but a few more will go a long way in nurturing their art and craft for years to come.
