Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

As young children, our students love to look at pictures of themselves or read books that feature their own names.

Our students deserve such materials, as any students do.

However, as most come from low-income families and many have disabilities, our students often have less access to age-appropriate, personalized learning materials. As such, it is important that we are able to provide such materials.

My Project

I am requesting ink for the large printer our five preschool and pre-kindergarten classes share. The ink will be used to make class newsletters, class books, and personalized learning materials such as name puzzles. The ink will last us more than a year, making the price for this printer less expensive in the long run.

Giving to this project will provide disadvantaged children with resources they deserve that our school is unable to provide.

You will be giving children from low-income families materials often taken for granted elsewhere.
