This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Having access to a platform like scholastic news is a great why to open up my first graders to world around them. They will be able to learn and grow about things that are happening currently in the world as well as past historical events.

By supporting this project, you would be helping me Open a World of Wonder and Discovery with these nonfiction weekly reader made JUST for Grade 1!

Scholastic News inspires an early love for reading and learning in every first grader. We look at science, social studies, and social development topics from a kid’s perspective—making the themes you need to teach relevant and exciting for your students!
