Help me give my students replacement spatulas, a stand mixer, creme brûlée sets, induction burners, replacement measuring cups, and cake decorating supplies!
My students are ninth through twelfth graders who are excited to learn how to cook! They see the value of learning these life skills and look forward to coming to class every day.
As enthusiasm for our program grows, our equipment is well-used, and we are seeing a need to replace some common cooking items such as rubber spatulas while also adding new tools like creme brûlée sets!
Please help us make these updates as we continue to build our program and spread the word about how much fun it is to come to class every day!
My Project
My students have enjoyed working in our culinary class kitchens, but some of our supplies have seen better days. One kitchen does not have a working stand mixer, many of our measuring cups are missing handles, and several of our rubber spatulas are becoming health hazards. I am looking forward to having these items replaced.
I am also excited about helping my students build new skills by working with induction burners for the first time.
In addition, we will be perfecting our creme brûlée, sweet and savory crepes, piping and cake decorating skills and the creation of other baking and pastry delights!
