New Year, New Supplies!

Help me give my students comfortability and functionality. I would love to be able to get some basic supplies to help us everyday such as calculators as well as some decorations to make it feel like their home!

My Project

Our charter school is a Title I school serving students from Hamilton and Trenton, New Jersey. Seventy-nine percent of our students receive free or reduced-price lunch, as well as food for them to bring home to their families over the weekend.

My students definitely work best when they are in a comfortable and homelike environment.

As a new teacher, I have had to start from scratch and although I spent a lot of my own money over the summer on basics, I still want to be able to provide more for my students!

Items like calculators and headphones are an everyday necessities in math and financial literacy as I often allow them to check their work and watch videos for extra help.

Aside from just the basic supplies, I have listed some items that would make my classroom feel more warm and inviting. I would love to have my classroom become a safe space that students are excited to go to! Thank you in advance for any shares and or donations!
