Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
They are a highly diverse group of kids with special needs. They range from physical impairments to down-syndrome, to autism, and many have multiple impairments. Our campus is ethnically diverse and an economically disadvantaged campus, but we strive harder than most.
My students are extraordinary in their own way and while their growth is sometimes slow, it is mighty!
My students have more limitations than most, but expectations that keep them moving to their highest capabilities. My students are some of the hardest workers I know.
My Project
Our crayons are all broke, our markers are all dry, our notepads are all full. Please help us start off the new year with fresh supplies to finish out the school year just as we have begun.
We have been working hard throughout the months we have been in school so our school supplies are low and used up.
We would love to have some new supplies so that we can continue on with the progress we have made. We use dry erase markers, crayons, notepads, and regular markers on a daily basis so what we have are broken or depleted.
