My students need supplies to begin our new school year. They need crayons, markers, notebooks, assorted colors of construction paper, and assorted art supplies.
My students are four years old and are considered "at risk" for school failure.
We provide the students with research-based practices that support children's school success.
Our goal is to reduce the achievement gap and capitalize learning during the critical preschool years while the brain is continuing to develop. We provide all children with early learning environments that foster independence and create capable and successful learners. We want our students to know that they are special and important to us! That they can be and do anything within their imagination.
My Project
The supplies I bought at the end of year last year are gone. My students need these supplies in order to be able to engage in our centers, especially in our art center. We use paper, markers and crayons throughout all of the different centers in our classroom. At the end of last year we were taking supplies from one center to another center in order to have enough. With theses supplies our students will be able to build on their fine motor skills, while also building on their academic skills.
As students use these materials they are also learning writing skills.
We encourage each student to write their name on their work or their beautiful master piece. By having their own notebook each student will have a place to keep all of their work together if they choose to take it home.
Our students can have so much fun completing activities using these materials. The other school supplies included will provide all the essentials needed to run an effective classroom on a daily basis.
