My Project

I am excited to begin the next half of the year with my students. We have accomplished many things in the first semester, and I'm excited to push that even more as we begin 2023. I am asking for pencils and erasers, as well as math manipulatives, such as Fraction Stax and Classroom Magnetic Numbers Operations Kit, that I can use during small group instruction. "Mr. Linder, I need a pencil!" is one of the most common exclamations I hear in our classroom. I have spent plenty of my own money on pencils, but this restock will help alleviate that.

Hands-on learning just makes it stick!

I'm asking for the number and operations kit to use during small group instruction to help my students build true equations using all four operations. They will be able to demonstrate their understanding while manipulating the tools. The ice cream game will be used to help my students with fluency. We will roll dice and use one of the four operations to calculate a number. This number will be filled in with an ice cream scoop. The first one to fill in the ice cream, wins!
