My Students

Motivated. Imaginative. Creative. Each day, working with my 32 four and five year old students is rewarding. They come in each day eager to learn, ready to explore, and inventive in their play. Although I teach in a Title 1 school district in Michigan, with low social-economic students, they deserve to have the same great learning experiences as their peers.

Hands-on learning is used to support a students engagement and discovery of the world around them.

They are inquisitive and curious. Open-ended materials are provided to support their learning and interests.

These students are our future. An investment in their education is an investment in our future.

My Project

The elementary school I just got hired at opened a new preschool classroom. As this is very exciting (for most of my students, it's their first school experience), we are lacking some necessary supplies. The budget just isn't there.

I am turning to you for support in helping build our classroom.

One thing we desperately need is storage containers. These storage containers will help us organize the open-ended materials we will be using to support literacy and mathematical knowledge (State of Michigan priority). Organized learning materials support an organized mind, allowing my students to thrive. We thank you for helping us in advance!
