My students need 2 iPad mini to complete our technology cart.

I have a very diverse classroom. I have children from China, Mexico, Jordan, Vietnam, and Honduras. Most of them can't speak English. My goal for my students is to be able to speak conversational English, then progress into the educational aspect of speaking.
They are very shy, quiet, nervous, and scared.
My job is to maker them feel comfortable. My school full of low income hard working students. Most parents cant afford this type of technology. This would allow them to be exposed to new things. Teaching in the 21st century has many challenges, but it can be even more challenging when you don’t have the resources to engage the students who are so eager to use technology. Technology is a huge portion of our lives inside and outside the school. most of my students only get to use technology here at school. Our school is considered a low-income school with 80% of our students qualifying for the free and/or reduced breakfast/lunch program.
My students are full of energy and ambition to learn in a 21st century classroom, however, I am limited to what I can do. I have 27 students and one iPad mini that they all want to use. I would like to get two more iPad mini's so I can group them and rotate in small groups, some with me and some working independently. These materials would be beneficial to them in numerous ways. The iPad minis would be used for interactive literacy centers, in addition to one-on-one instruction, enrichment, and intervention. Since we all know our students all learn differently, the technology available on the iPad mini would allow me to supplement curriculum for my high students and teach remediation skills for my struggling learners. The two iPad minis will complete our class set, allowing each student to have the opportunity to work independently. They will be utilized in all subject areas to support the student's understanding of the skills and strategies needed.

They will be utilized in all subject areas to support the student's understanding of the skills and strategies needed. As a result, the students will be able to access numerous educational apps that will aide them in school.
