My Students

My students are part of an amazing Title I school. They deserve every opportunity to learn and excel. As a first year teacher, I don't have the funds yet to give these deserving students everything that they need.

My students should not have to worry about space to work or supplies to accomplish great things.

I am hoping that donors can see the need for these first grade students to get the most out of their classroom! They deserve to have an amazing year filled with learning and exploration.

My Project

This rug will be a space for my students during whole group instruction. It is an essential part of our classroom routine, and our room is completely tiled.

This rug is a high quality rug from Lakeshore Learning that will be able to withstand the hustle and bustle of first graders throughout our daily routine.

In addition to whole group instruction, this large rug space will provide students with a place to complete larger projects and group activities. Without this rug, my students would have to sit on the tile floor; this rug will serve to make our classroom comfortable and inviting!
