My sixth-grade students are resilient, inclusive, and kind to their teachers and peers -- inside AND outside of their school community! This group of sixth grade students are SO happy to be back in school and learning in the classroom this year with their teachers and classmates. The joy I see on their faces every day when they get to participate in our literacy and reading lessons makes me so happy and inspires me to be the very best educator to my students.
My sixth grader's favorite place to learn and read is the classroom library -- Classroom libraries increase student motivation, engagement, and achievement and help students become critical thinkers, analytical readers, and informed citizens!
This is why I would love to support my student's learning by providing them with brand new books and bookshelves in their classroom library. There is something magical about holding a new book and reading with your peers in an inspiring and comfortable library setting. Your support will continue to ignite their love for reading and learning!
There is something magical about holding a new book and reading with your peers in an inspiring and comfortable library setting. My students will greatly benefit academically, socially, and emotionally by having a classroom library that contains the resources requested. Library shelves will help my students be able to organize books into genres and will assist them in finding the type of book they are looking for that supports their needs. The books requested focus on diversity, inclusion, and even finance! I believe the resources in my cart will support my students in their journey to becoming upstanding citizens inside and outside of the classroom.
Classroom libraries help students become critical thinkers, analytical readers, and informed citizens!
