My Students

By the end of the year, I want all of my 15 students to be reading books by knowing the first 92 Dolch sight words and have the ability of sound out words in able to read.

I have a classroom of 15 students.

We are from a rural school. Most of my students are transfer students from a nearby town. My students are very well behaved, funny kids. They have learned the routine that we have and are really doing great this year. I have 8 boys and 7 girls. They are very social kids. They love to talk but know when the appropriate time to talk is.

My Project

My students will use these tablets during online lessons, learning stations, and during tutoring. We will be learning sight words with a PowerPoint that I have made as well as playing sight word games, reading stories online. We will also be using them to learn math concepts that are taught during class.

Since we only have one desktop computer available to us, my students will be so excited to be able to work on a tablet.

Most of my students are very visual learners. Therefore, they could use these tablets to further practice a certain concept or work on sight words. Thanks for your time.
