Help me give my students tables to work more successfully in groups. Our classroom is so crowded while trying to move desks around into groups. Tables would greatly reduce the crowding and still help students work together.

My Students

My class is a group of 24 students at an Environmental Magnet School. We integrate environmental education into our daily curriculum and encourage our students to learn through outdoor exploration and investigation. They are curious, adventurous, and eager to learn.

My Project

My current classroom is so crowded and disorganized. Trying to fit 24 standard sized desks, while still attempting to have students work in groups can be frustrating. Providing tables for them to work will help with the clutter, crowding, and disorganization of my classroom while still providing students with the ability to work with their peers.

I would like to provide 2 tables towards the back of the classroom, then still have a few desks paired together for students who do better working with just a partner instead of a larger group.

Providing seating options for my students will help each student find success.
