My Students

My kindergartners are sweet and loving 5 and 6 year olds.

They are full of energy and love to learn.

They teach me a thing or two on a daily basis. They love anything new and challenging that you give them. They come from a variety of socioeconomic backgrounds and some even come from non-traditional homes. For several of them, this is their first experience with school and I want them to leave my classroom ready to conquer the world.

My Project

My class is moving to a smaller classroom. Our big, bulky tables will not fit into a smaller room and still give my kindergartners room to have all of their centers.

My classroom is centered around my students.

In a flexible seating classroom, they get to sit and learn in the best place for them. They love getting to choose from different seats and tables throughout the day.

The smaller, lower tables will allow my students to have more room to move around the classroom for centers and will give them a different place to sit. Not all of my students like to sit in chairs. They love to sit on cushions at the lower tables.
