Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am a teacher in a low-income, high poverty school. My students face challenges every day, in and out of the classroom. It is my job to make sure my students have the necessary materials to develop a lifelong love of learning in a safe and engaging classroom where they can feel successful.

Despite the 95% of students who are eligible for free or reduced-price lunch and the hardships my students face on a daily basis, they are creative, full of energy, and eager to learn every day.

My Project

In my classroom we are in need of some new supplies. My students have some how went through almost all of our pencils for the year. Their notebooks and folders are also starting to rip.

I am looking to freshen up some of our supplies with new folders, notebooks, pens and pencils.

This will greatly help us complete the year and all of our school work. I am also asking for new anchor chart paper pad. These help us create charts to hang up in the classroom so students can look back at it and remember. The paper and markers help us create learning together. Thank you for your continued support of our classroom.
