Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My energetic fourth and fifth graders come to school every day eager to learn. I teach at a Title I school, and the majority of the students are on free and reduced-price lunch.
Despite the many challenges they may face outside of school, my students are enthusiastic and curious about the world around them.
Many of them take their newfound knowledge and teach their family members at home. They take pride in their learning, and they love to learn. My fourth graders are amazing!
My Project
My fourth and fifth graders have been working hard these past several months of school. They love to learn and it shows as their current school supplies that I have given them are running out. We use our whiteboards and expo pens multiple times a day to help cut down on how much paper we use. My students could use a new set of expo pens, pencils, erasers and paper to use in the new year. The white paper would be used to print their projects that they have created on the computer. My students are eager to learn and these supplies would continue to help them thrive in school.
