My students need some more supplies! The end of the year is here and things are broken, misplaced, or just plain gone. We need to replace all those missing things.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are honors level students in a low-income area who are working hard, some very hard with jobs and more, to make better lives for themselves and get into a good college. They are hardworking, compassionate, and determined.
Many come from a disadvantaged background, with a 65% economic disadvantage; there are students who will be the first in their family to go to college.
They know this and every day to them is a day to improve their lives and the lives of those they love.
My Project
My students use these supplies all the time. Pencils are a necessity, and high school kids seem to live on tape and staples. On top of that, we are constantly losing things! With the help of a storage bin we hope to keep track of all the little things, a hanging organizer will keep those pesky sign in and out sheets up allowing for more room on the only table, and the paper cutter is to save time in the class. So many times this year we needed to cut so many things, and the students really, really wanted to make it go faster (or for me to get the guillotine cutter from the teacher's lounge). I didn't think that was safe even with high school kids. With a nice cutter, we can get a lot more done in a shorter period of time, leaving the class time for more productive things, like learning.
