My students are a happy, energetic group of Second Graders. I have 18 students this year. They love to learn new skills, and they move while they learn and read daily. My students love to express themselves through learning and activities in the classroom.
My second graders love coming to school to explore, learn, and take new adventures.
My school is in a rural, low-income based area and currently enrolls just under 1,000 students from preschool to fourth grade. Every student receives free breakfast and lunch. Many of our students come to school to be loved and learn something new.
My Project
I am asking for necessary student supplies for the upcoming school year. Each year students go through various supplies to create crafts, complete classwork and homework all while learning! These supplies will be given to my Second Grade students in August. Each student will have brand new supplies to start their brand new year.
My students will use these supplies to complete their classwork, homework and lots of crafts!
Pencils, crayons, glue sticks, scissors, markers and paper are all basic necessities in a classroom. Students on average go through two boxes of crayons per year and five or more glue sticks. These supplies will help to make sure my students have what they need to get their year off to a great start!
