My Students

My students are wonderfully unique. Each child comes from closely related socioeconomic backgrounds but has been shaped by different experiences. As a teacher that works with title one schools, I may get the opportunity to teach reading and writing to students who are on many different levels and abilities, but these students truly show that they will work hard to commit to their learning.

Unity is created throughout my classroom through the students' undeniable motivation for learning.

We learn that through transparency that all of us can achieve our highest level of learning. The relationships that we share as a classroom cancel out all doubts that we can achieve greatness through hard work and determination. The students demonstrate greatness and growth which is always appreciated and celebrated.

My Project

One of the most important goals of teaching is focusing on the needs of the students. With this purpose in mind, it is understood that whole group teaching is not the way to advance achievement. In this decade, it is time to focus on the specific needs of our students through flexible seating.

Teachers must be able to teach using the multiple intelligence of students, instructing numerous small groups, and allowing groups to change based on ability.

Flexible seating makes this possible. These new tables will allow students to be able to think of the classroom as a room equipped to handle their specific needs.
