Help me give my students these items to motivate, teach, and stay organized for the rest of the year, especially the vocabulary builder flash cards 6 pack because my students need extra help building vocabulary skills.
My students love learning in a hands-on approach. When topics are presented with creativity, my students especially flourish! All of my students are receiving speech and language services, so working towards their goals can be challenging for them. They are the most excited to learn when we have a new activity planned.
Our school is one of the most diverse elementary schools in Indianapolis with many newcomer students from different countries.
Extra materials to help bridge the gap between students is one of the most beneficial things for my students. They love learning and accomplishing goals!
My Project
The items I choose to help my student come from three different areas: organization, motivation, and and learning. Organization tools such as the file desk organizer and the colored pens will help me be organized in scheduling IEP meetings, making lesson plans, and keeping in touch with parents. Color coding and organizing will help me be the most effective SLP for my students.
Motivation is a huge factor in my students' learning.
My students have the chance to earn toys and candy if they put in the effort needed to learn the lessons being taught. Many students at the school need motivating factors to be engaged in lessons because of where they come from or what they have been exposed to in the past.
The learning tools selected such as the vocabulary builder and language game will be useful tools in teaching my students new skills. Many of my students struggle with vocabulary, so these tools will help me teach them to the best of my ability and make them as successful as I can.
