New Set of Scooter Boards!

Help me give my students more scooter boards! We combine all elementary classes so it would be great if the students didn't have to share them during class. Any little bit helps! Thank you SO MUCH!

My Students

We have a saying- "The Greatest Place to Be is Greenback, Tennessee!" There is no doubt that this statement is correct! Greenback is a small town of about one thousand ninety-five people and our school is very special. It is one of the few PreK-12 schools left in the state. We have about seven hundred students and forty percent are on free or reduced price lunch.

We are so very fortunate to have a brand new, beautiful school but unfortunately, we only have one gym for all our students so we are always looking for new ideas to make better use of our shared space.

With our scheduling conflicts between essentially three different schools in one gym, we might have two classes of forty kindergarten kids on one end of the court and a class of thirty high school students on the other end. We want all our students to get the maximum amount of physical activity to have fun and most of all, be safe! One solution to this problem is these outdoor basketball goals.

My Project

Our kiddos love to use the scooter boards. With combined elementary classes, there are a lot of kids in the gym at the same time. Sometimes there are high school students are the other half of the gym. It would be wonderful if we had enough scooters for each student to have their own during class instead of having to share them.

The extra scooters will also help with spreading germs and will eliminate sharing equipment during this difficult time.

We want to keep our kids safe and healthy and have fun at the same time! They are also a great workout!
