My Students

My students are special because they are all different in unique ways. They love technology and I like it when they have those aha moments. Their faces light up when they learn something new that they can use in other classes or other areas of their lives outside of school. Some of them live in low socioeconomic areas and supplies are limited.

My students inspire me by showing me what they already know or what they have learned.

Each and every day is exciting and new for the students and me as well.

My Project

This project is for a semester refresh. I will have new students who will use the computers to understand concepts using interactive activities and the headphones help to block out interfering noise. This helps students to focus and concentrate on their learning. The students also work in groups to describe and create the concepts learned using poster boards and construction paper by drawing designs. The designs are then displayed to show what they have accomplished. They are very proud and excited when they see their work displayed. It confirms what they can do with hard work. Finally, every once in a while a student will feel sluggish or tired. Using the peppermints will occasionally help them perk up and get a breath of freshness to continue the rest of the day.
