Help me give my students real, hands-on science experiences. Students will be excited to have real owl pellets for life science. Students will watch photosynthesis take place using greenhouse garden kit. The needed supplies provide best learning practice.
This will influence the entire 5th grade at Blackridge Elementary! That's 125 students. A new science core is being implemented this year and students need supplies.
Students at school during this pandemic are showing a desire to learn and a will to move forward.
Our students have different talents and interests, but the one thing all of our students have in common is they are here at school and want to learn. Our classes consist of a wide range of learning abilities and need opportunities to discover science using multiple median.
My Project
During this pandemic, our students have struggled with distant learning within the classroom. As teachers, we have the need to provide each student with individual supplies so that their learning experience can still be enriching and beneficial.
Our 5th grade just got a new science curriculum which brings on an additional challenge of providing new supplies to align with the core for each individual student.
By donating the needed supplies, students are given the opportunity to discover how plants grow using the green houses, investigate animal lifestyles using owl pellets, understand matter with the different powders and liquids, and continue to develop knowledge about life, physical earth, and space science.
