Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are going to be a diverse group of different personalities and friendships. As a first year teacher I will need many things in order to ensure the classroom that they will be learning in has all the necessary supplies.
I have many new and innovative ideas to share with my students but in order to successfully do so I also need the proper supplies.
Many of the students are low income and qualify for free lunch. Some of the families may also lack the necessary supplies to ensure that their children are able to succeed in 6th grade.
All supplies listed will be very helpful in promoting a positive learning environment, where each students potential is reached and exceeded.
My Project
Many of these needed supplies will be used by the students. The clipboards will allow them to create anywhere within the classroom or school.
All classroom supplies help create a well stocked and useful classroom for all of my students.
By providing the listed supplies my students will be able to immediately start learning without having any worries about if they will be able to purchase them.
These materials will be a great asset to my classroom as it will relieve financial burdens and contribute to the academic success of students. I chose resources like Science World and Storyworks magazines that I have found to be effective in a middle school classroom.
