We have such a diverse group of kids at my school. They are from all different backgrounds and from different socioeconomic levels. We have gifted kids and kids with special needs.
I work directly with students who struggle with reading and math and who need some extra help to get caught up.
Many of my students are English Language Learners. They all have something in common. They all love to learn. They also love reading new books and experiencing new things.
My Project
With the new school year here, we need to freshen up some of our classroom supplies. We are so busy during the school year that we go through lots of supplies.
This proposal includes several consumable items that we could use to start fresh this school year!
This year I want to have lots of different supplies for the students to use for writing. The kids I work with are often just getting the hang of handwriting. To make it fun I like to have fun pencils to choose from, such as the fun ones in this project. The red crayons will be used for practicing our 'red words' in small groups. The colored pens and metallic crayons will be so fun for our writing and illustrating.
