My Students
This awesome ESL Pre-K group is filled with energy and curiosity.
Our diversity of students come from homes that speak little or no English.
Therefore, our students come to school speaking little or no English. This language barrier makes it difficult for these young students to comprehend what is being taught and difficult for the parents to help their students learn.
Our students and their families have been through a lot. Our community was impacted by Hurricane Harvey and is still recovering from the hurricane. A lot of our students are from a low income family. This fact has made it extremely difficult for these families to recover from the hurricane.
My Project
Every child feels like a rock star when they have new supplies for the new school year! My project is to help my students have new school supplies for the upcoming school year. Our school has a lot of children that come from low income families. This makes it difficult for our children to have new supplies for the new school year.
Pre-K students having new supplies for the new school year makes them feel so special!
They are so excited to use their the new supplies! With my students having everything they need for the new school year, they are ready and excited to learn!
