My Project
I am a second-grade teacher who loves teaching my students the foundations of reading, writing, and math. During this time where we are coming out of Covid my school is beginning a new language arts perspective. I want to be able to grant my children access to hands on texts that will heighten their education and intertwine their curriculum knowledge with reading, writing, and science..
We are a Title I, public school, where our students come from a variety of homes and backgrounds.
Some live in single-parent families, some live with grandparents, and some live with both parents. In our school, about 85% of students receive free or reduced-price lunch.
