My students need pencils, file holders, a laminator and notebooks to have an organized way to turn in work- this will allow the classroom to function better and help set an example for them as they move throughout classes.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students work hard every day to improve in school. They are a diverse group of learners from around Worcester MA, who come to school every day hoping to grow and mature as people and learners.
Ninty percent of my students live below the poverty line.
They come from around the world, and I would love to help them access texts that reflect their background and surroundings, and can provide them with intellectual stimulation and powerful messages.
Our community is an amazing place, and a stellar group of educators will use these texts for years to come.
My Project
This purchase will help me organize my classroom, which will help my students organize themselves throughout the year. The organizational structure of classrooms is an important tool in maintaining student achievement. I want to ensure we start the year off well.
I will use this to purchase a 15 section mailer for my classroom- something structurally sound for students to get assignments from.
This will allow students to return assignments easily back to me.
I will also use this to purchase pencils and normal office supplies. This will be particularly helpful for my AVID class- which will help start students off on the right foot!
