We are fourth graders who love to learn, think, and grow. The students of my 4th grade class are striving to become academic learners, philosophical thinkers, and active community members. Because our school is way out on the North Shore we can always use your help to get us new supplies and resources.
Elementary Education is a precious time in a person's growing life; it is the first and foundational building block into the world of learning and school.
By donating to our classroom projects you are helping pave the way for a lifetime of positive learning. Ms. Fox's fourth graders are inspired learners who cannot wait to come to school each day!
These materials will make a difference in each student's learning because they will be able to dive deeper into the thinking and reading of a new book. When we read a novel together we can have collaborative, philosophical conversations about the themes, messages, and lessons of a good book. We can ask questions, make connections to our own lives and experience new worlds while at the same time improving our comprehension and reading fluency.
Novel studies help motivate my students to want to read, at an age where school and learning tend to slip behind.
My students cannot wait to read a novel at home, come back to school and discuss it with their peers and l cannot wait to see what the next book brings to our classroom!
