My Students

My grade 4 students love to read and explore! As an educator for 35 years, my classroom library is in need of more updated books. Many have been lost, over loved, and yes, chewed on by the dog! Scholastic has a great box of selected novels for the classroom. Students love to hear how I have read and loved my books. They especially love when i describe authors and award winners to them. Reading is a lifelong skill. I encourage all I can!

My Project

Students are always encouraged to read "new". They love how they smell new. Always a privilege to read one of the new books. Scholastic Books has selected a variety of books perfect for the grade 4 classroom. If these are purchased, it will refresh my library and encourage reluctant readers to try something new.

Students love the idea of choosing or self selecting their own books.

With these kits, they will be able to.

I am excited to recive and share the books with my class snd my peers. It takes as village, and we are that village. Thank you.
