New Math Teacher ~ In Need Of Supplies
My students need supplies, including 30 rulers, file folders, fadeless paper and colored pencils, in order to consistently expand their math education and create their interactive math notebooks.
"Start strong. Stay Strong. Finish Strong." This is the quote that will be on the wall of my classroom for this year.
My students are on an average 9th grade level.
The students come from many different back grounds; some can't even afford pencils, while others can afford everything. They attend a school that is set up like a college. With this being said, it really shows the maturity and responsibility level of students. This prepares them for life after high school.
The resources I have requested are highly important in helping my math student's receive their education. I plan on using an interactive notebooks to help my students remember the step-by-step solving of an equation. This will also allow them the chance to use these at home or whenever needed. I also plan on many group activities. This allows students the chance to work together and use whiteboards rather than paper. Hopefully, doing this plus more, will improve my students' education.
The donations to this request will make a difference by allowing me to have to supplies for my students that they can not personally afford.
White boards, paper, folders, and even pencils will go a long way in this math class. I truly believe that interactive notebooks, group work and a little twist to a math lesson can help even one students become a better learner of math.
