My Students

My students are a wonderful group of individuals, eager to learn and love to play! I have diverse learners in my room with a total of five different languages spoken and some are slowly learning English as they interact with their peers.

In our classroom, we emphasize individuality and independence.

My students are very eager to be responsible learners and celebrate their uniqueness every day!

My Project

My students are highly influenced by kinesthetic learning. Mathematics and science are so much more enjoyable for my students when they have objects they are able to explore and use for problem solving. We have free choice time every single day where the students get to play with the manipulatives we currently have. I would love to surprise them with new math manipulatives and a math counters library to use during independent work time, partner/group work time, and free choice time daily. They already love math and science time, these materials would allow them to stay even more engaged!
