As a teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district, my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face, I am looking for ways to give my students meaningful learning experiences that encourage creativity while practicing real world skills.
My students crave hands on activities that allow them to explore as they learn.
Our school is in the early stages of creating a maker space to give our students a place where it is safe to try new things, learn from their mistakes, and discover their passion!
By helping fund this project you will be putting Bloxels game boards in the hands of students. These kits will allow students to creatively tell their story through video game design. The game boards are reusable and will allow students to build, design, and then see their ideas come to life again and again.
When students use Bloxels to build games, they become the writers, artists, designers, and developers of their own interactive stories.
Bloxles will allow students to critically think, practice their problem solving skills, and unlock their creativity. All skills needed for success in education, daily life, and the workforce.
