New K-12 Visual Arts Curricula

Help me give my students opportunites to stay safe from the Corona virus by providing materials that will be included in sanitizable Art Kits. They DO NOT share utensils, each student needs their own art supplies!

My Students

My students range from Kindergarten through 12 grade. I teach Visual Arts as well as a Student-led enterprise class called KGraphics. These students are learning valuable Graphic Design skills that will allow for viable job opportunities in our repressed rural area. I also serve in the Special Education department, particularly K-5 students. My K-5 students focus their art creations on the Elements of Art, while the upper class discover ways to use the Elements through decisions based on the Principles of Design.

My Project

The materials found therein will help our efforts to keep students safe during these uncerain times of Covid-19. Our students no longer share art utensils and we are cognizant of keeping all surfaces (including markers, pencils and jars) sanitized to prevent cross-contamination!

Art kits can be sent home with the students in the event of a sudden "soft-closure".

The students will continue to create amazing art work during remote/distance learning. On the teacher side, I can continue to provide art classes remotely since students will have their art making materials at home!
