Help me give my students new supplies to use during the school year. The cart will be a great way to organize the supplies for them to grab from. I am so excited for the new year!
"A good teacher is like a candle; it consumes itself to light the way for others." Each and every day, I strive to give my personal best to my class. I teach with enthusiasm and encourage my students to take risks. I look for ways to help my kids, and I'm confident these requested materials will.
I am fortunate to teach a great group of 20 kids in second grade.
We are located in a small farm town, in a K-12 building, where everyone knows one another. Our school is smaller in size, but full of spirit and school pride. I would love to provide my class of students with more materials to help keep them engaged for the remainder of the school year.
My Project
The items listed in my project will be readily available for my students to use. The three-tiered cart will shelve the items, making everything in one central location.
Having *NEW* supplies like markers, scissors, and folders help get the kids excited and engaged with what they are working on.
Combining this project with my previously funded project will have students actively working and sitting comfortably while doing it. Yoga balls are a great seat choice in the classroom, and many students enjoy that option. Adding these two will allow for a total of 8 to choose from!
I am beyond excited to get into my classroom to start decorating and setting it up with the new materials in my project!
