This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Make chemistry fun! We have a brand new chemistry laboratory that is in need of modern technology!

Our school is currently occupied by freshman and sophomore students.

These students are very bright and are focused on obtaining a post-secondary degree upon graduation from our school. Our school is an International Baccalaureate candidate school that has a very strong view on internationalism.

My Project

Calculators are a must have in a chemistry classroom. These calculators will help the students perform dimensional analysis on numerous chemical reactions. Being able to calculate is only half of understanding chemistry, the other half is being able to conceptualize what you are calculating. The document camera will help the students conceptualize chemical reactions by allowing them to view the chemical reactions clearly and at a safe distance.

This donation will help create science-based thinkers.

Science-based thinking is an important trait to every content area. This systematic approach to problem solving will create open-mindedness and make it much easier for the students to think in an international sense.
