This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Winter is here and our playground is covered in snow! During the cold winter months in the Northeast, we mostly play indoors during recess. We need new indoor recess materials. Classic board games, Play-Doh, and coloring are our favorite indoor recess activities.

Indoor recess materials facilitate student interactions and improve social and emotional intelligence.

Students learn to share and cooperate while playing with various materials like board games, Lego blocks, coloring books, musical instruments, and Play-Doh. These materials also foster their creativity and allow them to use their imaginations freely.
