Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are always eager to learn and love their classroom. I teach at a Title I elementary school where 100% of the students qualify for free breakfast and lunch. They come to school so happy no matter what may go on in their lives. With that said, there are many supplies needed for the classroom that they cannot afford to get and I would love to provide those for them.

My classroom consists of fabulous kids who enjoy learning new things and I enjoy providing all that I can for them.

They find a way no matter what the day is like to make me laugh throughout the day.

My Project

I am moving to a new grade level next school year, and since I will be moving to 1st grade, I will nee a gathering carpet for the classroom.

The new carpet will allow the students to come together for reading time and talk time during lessons.

The fun decor will make the environment a place where they will want to learn and grow.

I am looking to make my new classroom a camping theme so that the students can always feel like we are outside in nature. I truly believe that if the classroom is presented in a way that looks enjoyable, the students will want to keep coming back to learn.
