New & Exciting Musical Theatre Class - Part 1

We are working hard to build the new Musical Theatre class for our dedicated performing art students at the high school.

We were recently approved to offer a new musical theatre class. The course will be offered after the regular school day ends so the over 70 interested students are willing to spend an additional hour each day at school to participate in this course. Many of these students have wanted to participate in the art program but due to demanding academic schedules have not had the room. The class will be team taught by the theatre and music teachers. The students are so excited!

Due to the recent cuts to visual and performing arts programs, we are exploring ways to provide meaningful experiences to our students in an affordable way. A karaoke machine that can be run through our current sound system will provide an innovative technological solution. It will allow students access to thousands of theatrical songs that we would not be able to supply or afford with a hired accompanist.

Your generosity will provide a valuable tool to make this class successful. It is courses such as this that keep students in school and allow them to shine.
