My Students

I teach junior high PE in a metropolitan area. They are in grades 7 through 9. They are 12-15 years old. They are smart, happy, and mostly trying to do their best here at school. My students are hard workers that come to PE to move, play, and de-stress. We teach them to have good sportsmanship and be good teammates while they move their bodies, exercise their heart and lungs, and learn the specifics or team games and sports.

My Project

Physical activity is crucial to helping students manage all aspects of their health. Having access to equipment that is not broken down or ripped can actually inspire them to participate with more excitement which helps them burn more energy and have healthier lives.

My students will have the ability to move their bodies and interact with their peers in person which is getting harder in light of this pandemic and Covid-19.

Providing properly cared for and new equipment helps with engagement and management.

This donation has the ability to reach more than four hundred students in this year alone. Thank you for your consideration.
