New Drawing Materials
My students need Crayola color stick pencils to use for their art projects.
Crayola color sticks will save the day! I recently discovered this item and felt it would greatly benefit my students. Colored pencils are in constant need of sharpening which take away from their project time. The Crayola sticks will allow them more focus on their work.
My students are from a low income school.
There are close to 500 students in this elementary school, where 75 and 80% of students are on free and reduced lunch. So many of these students are artistic and do not have the materials to be creative at their homes. I try to provide many different types of projects and materials for the students to be exposed to, but often I do not have a large art budget to do this.
We will be able to use the Crayola color sticks more often in our projects instead of just crayons and markers. The color sticks can be used for all grade levels. Allowing younger students the exposure to another art material. The intermediate level students can better concentrate on their skills.
Colored pencils are wonderful to use in an art projects and they look great.
The color sticks will provide this same effect but without the mess and waste of time trying to sharpen them.
