This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My elementary school is one of the largest elementary schools in Dallas. With over 1000 students attending, the music room needs equipment to service all students. A full 88 key teacher digital piano is desperately needed for programs and accompanying the students.

My school is a title one school and 95% of all of my students are on the free or reduced lunch program.

We are located in the heart of Dallas, TX in Dallas ISD. However, all of my students are great kids who have a passion for music and a love for the guitar.

My Project

I am requesting an 88 key digital teacher piano to provide students a quality piano sound during rehearsals, performances and practice. This instrument will replace a 55 year old upright piano that is badly out of tune and uses a lot of money to maintain every year.

This project is very important to my students as it provides opportunities for further growth in the learning aspect of music education.

This will give me the chance to provide good quality piano sounds for my students for many years to come. I love sharing the joy of music with my students, hoping that they will join me in this love of music. Thank you for all of your support!
