New Computer Needed for Virtual Teacher

I need a new computer as I am virtual teacher so I can efficiently work creating needed curriculum for my students.

My Project

When I started my journey as a virtual teacher pre-pandemic, I was provided with a basic laptop to use. It is now four years old and as with technology, no longer runs with the speed and precision I need. Everything I do is completed online and many times, I am waiting for the system to catch up, wasting previous moments of time. Tasks that should take minutes take much longer than they used to.

Creating Power Points for my students that reflect the curriculum is a main part of my daily job.

I often work overtime on weekends to ensure that my PowerPoint lessons best reflect what standards my students will be working on each day the following week. I am often waiting on my system to catch up so that I can finish these tasks in a reasonable amount of time. I also find myself multi-tasking as I create the lessons so that my students receive the best assortment of instruction that is tailored to their individual learning styles.

Last of all, my eyesight is not what it used to be. A larger laptop screen will help me see as I am grading or interacting with students through chat or video in our synchronous sessions. Glasses haven't really helped all that much, so adding a few inches to the laptop screen would be an improvement for this, as well.
