Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach computers and see different grades throughout the day and week in my school. As part of the classes I am teaching, students are learning the key basic fundamentals of keyboarding and computer program applications to set a baseline for their future needs.
Students in my school are gaining computer-based knowledge that will take them through all aspects of their future selves.
The students at my school are here to learn and they are eager to be here every day. They work hard and they are doing their best to become the best people they can possibly become.
My Project
I am setting up a new computer lab. I have to present daily slide presentations on a screen located high in my classroom. The presentation remote, allows me to have my hands mostly free where I am not required to hold my computer while navigating the classroom. The presentation remote has a feature that allows me to highlight the area of the screen the students need to be focussing their attention during the presentation.
Each of the students in my classroom are set up with log in cards.
Cardstock supply allows me to individualize the cards for each class and have them color coded for each grade level. This helps with ease of finding the correct card during class time.
The bulletin boards have not been updated in years. I am wanting to set up the classroom with dynamic boards that are inviting and provide students with resources for problem-solving and troubleshooting in the lab.
