My Students

Hello, and thank you for taking the time to view my project. I’d love to tell you about the students you will be supporting. I work at a Title I school, so many of my students need assistance to afford lunches as well as school supplies. Though some students are blessed to have both parents at home, many of my students come from broken homes. Many are being raised by grandparents, and some are foster children who have been adopted.

Despite their situations, whatever they may be, my students want to be successful.

They want to do well. I want to thank you for being willing to donate to classrooms across the country and help teachers be able to do more for their students. As I tell my students, we are all in this together.

My Project

Thank you for taking an interest in investing in young people. This project will help me provide BOOKS for my students. The books I've chosen are high-interest reads with many being classics or best-sellers. You will be helping me create a classroom library that our students can take pride in.

Help me foster a LOVE for READING!

When I was younger, I did not like to read.

I always wanted to love to read, but it never happened until my late high school days. I want better for my students.

Best-Selling Author James Patterson once said, "There's no such thing as a kid who hates reading. There are kids who are reading, and kids who are reading the wrong books. Please help me fill my classroom with amazing books!
