New CD/Cassette Player. So we can get our GROOVE on!
My students need a new cd player with a warranty.
This project expired on February 14, 2011.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
The students at our school love performing arts! They love being on stage and practicing for the big show. However, our current CD player is often more of a problem than a helpful tool. The children must be silent in order to hear the music well enough, which makes it really difficult to teach tap!
The students that attend our school are some of the most talented and smartest students.
In fact, our school has reached Annual Yearly Progress an astounding 11 years in a row. This has only been achieved by 19 other schools in Georgia. We are so proud of their scholarly accomplishments but we are also proud of their accolades in drama, strings, dance, music, art, and tinikling. Despite our economic and environmental state, these children have and continue to overcome.
Having a cd player that is loud and efficient will allow the students to sing along with songs and march as loud as they want and still hear the music. Having a remote with the cd player is also a bonus. I will be able to remain in front of the class, instead of constantly walking to back of the room. Being able to spend more time with my students will allow me to teach them even more!
I am so excited to be using this website!
I receive no funding from our county and this donation will not only help us get the things we need, but will also help teach the children about giving and sharing. Not only that, but help them learn how to really say THANK YOU!
