My Students

Children are some of my favorite people to be around.

They have a never-ending supply of intriguing questions, and they are always eager to learn more.

My students are so very bright second graders, they ask deep questions, they look for big answers, and they are always eager to find out more. With these advanced skills, my students often require a unique learning environment. This environment must encompass not only the materials they need to learn with, but the setting of the classroom as well.

My Project

I am asking for 5 Chromebook laptops to help complete my class set of computers.

21st-century learners need to have equal access to technology and paper-based materials to maximize their learning environment.

Our school district just recently purchased a new science curriculum that is 90% computer based. My students will have access to books, articles, games, and digital notebooks through this amazing curriculum. However, in order to get the most impact from these resources, we need to have a 1:1 technology set up in our classrooms.

The Chromebook laptops I am asking for will be used to help students access district funded resources, as well as collaborate through our district Office365 system, and finally, they will be able to use these laptops to help create presentations, edit images, and film stop-motion animated videos.
