My students are the best. They deserve the best education possible. They walk into the classroom full of life, ready to learn, and excited. I want them to know that I believe in them and they can do anything. I want them to be confident that they can accomplish their goals and know that a good education can take them anywhere they want to go.
I teach in a Title I school.
Many of my students face hardships at home that are beyond their control. Despite so many hardships, my students are eager to learn and do their best. They want to be in school because they want to learn all that they can so they can be successful one day. Their vocabularies are growing quickly, and they are eager to talk and share ideas.
My Project
New books in my classroom will provide my students with the opportunity to read, get excited about learning, and feed their imaginations. We will use these books during story time and whole group lessons, small group instruction, and individual reading. These books that I have chosen are books that my students will find interesting and will get them excited about learning.

In kindergarten, we use quality children's literature to teach ELA, math, social studies, and science. The children will be able to explore new ideas and learn about their world through literature.
