My Students
My students are an eager and positive group of learners that come from a wide range of backgrounds with a wide range of abilities. We like to work hard, laugh, and stretch our minds, and I'm always looking for new ways to push their thinking.
The diversity in their strengths and interests make for a rewarding school day and really keeps me on my toes. Their energy and enthusiasm motivate me to make this their most rewarding and successful school year yet.
My Project
These 31 titles were selected with each one of my 31 students in mind. Thanks to Covid-19, schools were closed with only a day's notice, and the kids left for an extended spring break with a lot of questions and anxiety. They left with enough books to last a couple of weeks, but I know they will be itching for new books to read upon their return.
When schools reopen, having a new book waiting for each and every one of my students will help set a celebratory tone and reenergize them for what I hope will be a strong finish.
